Izba “Grozden” has been founded in the early 30s of the 20th century in village Grozden as part of the cooperative "Suznanie". It is located in the micro area of the city Sungurlare, famous by centuries as grapes growing area and with the quality of the products.

The founder of the cooperative is Ivan Marinov, father in law of Dr. Zhelyu Zhelev, former Bulgarian president.

Grozden is produced according an original recipe of Izba “Grozden” that dates back to 1935. It is our attempt to embody the historical knowledge and experience in creating a traditional drink at the very best possible price. We believe that everybody should have the opportunity to consume well done spirit drink. Hence, our team of master blenders, following the original recipe in combination with modern technology achieved a product to enjoy while consuming it with friends.
