Kehlibar

Kehlibar

Kehlibar, the name means "amber" is a grape rakia of high-quality, aged rakia. In Kehlibar, we achieve the delicate balance between aromatic and non-aromatic grape varieties, which, in combination with the 3-year aging in oak barrels, create an exceptional rakia, rich in taste and aroma. While Muscat Ottonel and Ugni Blanc give its subtle and mysterious aroma, the endemic Bulgarian varieties Dymiat and Red Misket account for its well-balanced taste.
Kehlibar rakia is made by using an antique method, inherited from the ancient Thracians who used to populate the lands around present-day city of Karnobat. Immediately after the boiling of the brandy, the technologists of Vinprom Karnobat dunk in the containers pieces of natural Kehlibar as it was known for centuries that this resin was a universal cure for numerous illnesses and a natural filter against impurities. Kehlibar stone has the power to eliminate all toxins and residues in the fluids, that's why Kehlibar rakia is distinguished for its exceptional purity and balanced taste.
Kehlibar rakia is a truly exceptional rakia with a mild taste, mysterious muscat aroma and soft oak tones. It has a delicate amber color and a rich taste of well-ripened, quality grapes from Vinprom Karnobat's own vineyards.
