Riesling du Monde

Portrait of a grape variety

Riesling, originally from the Rhine valley and Moselle, is a grape variety employed to create a broad range of wines. Its cultivation is thought to have originated in Roman times.

Recognised as one of the best white grape varieties in the world, Riesling is a dry wine of some pedigree with overtones of delicate fruit.

Cultivated primarily in Germany, it is known in various countries around the world and represents 23% of the Alsatian vineyard.
