ENOTECA CABERNET SAUVIGNON ranked 2nd in DIVINO TOP 50

ENOTECA CABERNET SAUVIGNON ranked 2nd in THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS BULGARIAN WINE RANKING DIVINO TOP 50

Notably, Minkov Brothers Enoteca Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 not only claimed the second spot in DIVINO’s TOP 10 but also won the regional award for Best Wine from the Southern Black Sea region.

DIVINO’s TOP 50 ranking of the finest Bulgarian wines is curated and executed by the DiVino team. Established in 2012, the ranking is based on regular tastings conducted by DiVino throughout the year. In the final stage, a panel of 15 judges tastes all 50 wines, and their evaluations determine the DiVino TOP 10. This ranking accurately reflects the current market landscape in Bulgaria and serves as an invaluable guide for wine enthusiasts seeking quality wines available in the country.

ENOTECA CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2017 is an impressive wine – powerful, rich, noble, and with significant aging potential. The grapes are sourced from their own 20-year-old vines, cultivated in the “Vekhite Lozya” area, within the territory of the village of Lozenets, on terraced forest soils. The climate, characterized by dry springs and autumns, and mild and warm winters, provides ideal conditions for grape cultivation. The harvest, conducted manually from October 15 to 25 in 10 kg crates, ensures meticulous attention to detail.

“Cabernet Sauvignon thrives exceptionally well in the Karnobat Valley region, and our work with this varietal consistently yields excellent results,” share the winemakers from Minkov Brothers.

ENOTECA Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 also earned a gold medal at the prestigious global competition for wines of this variety, the Concours International des Cabernets 2023 (CIDC).

The wines within the Enoteca series are experimental, crafted based on creative projects by the winery’s technologists, aimed at exploring terroirs, barrel types, or new technological practices.
